AWR Baffled Oil Pan Group Buy

http://www.awrracing.com/store/produ...roducts_id=311

This is an AMAZING investment for anyone that wishes to drive their protege the way it's meant to be driven (hard and fast in the turns).

For those that don't know, the protege oil pan is not baffled and under lateral G's oil will slosh away from the pick up tube and dry lock the motor. This is VERY common. AWR is a very well known ESTABLISHED company that specializes in mazda performance parts. Quality has never been an issue on any AWR products I've ever seen. I use their front and rear motor mounts. I've seen their custom headers. They are first class all the way.

This GB is for 5 buyers. MSRP is $399+shipping. The GB will go for $375shipped for 5 buyers. They have 9 units in stock. Any more than 9 will be on the "second list". The "second list will still pay up front but will be about 3 weeks delayed due to AWR's participation in the SEMA show. I would need to place the orders before hand so they could build them immediatly after they return. So 9 are ready to go but #10 on is going to have an additonal wait period. The placement on the buy will be done by payment recieved date.

Because of problems in the past I'm going to request all payments be made via money order directly to me. This is a safe way to send payment for buyers as it's easily traceable. Also it helps me keep track of names/addresses etc.

Couple of questions if you know the answers:

1) What is the capacity of the pan?
2) Will it clear headers, suspension pieces, etc?
3) Anyone know of any way on line to send money orders besides BidPay (I'm way overseas and can't do it any other way)? If yes then I will add my name, otherwise I will have to wait.

Thanks.

I believe it is 6qt, but I'll ask just to verify 100%.

I'm not 100% positive it will clear exhausts and what not but I do know it's used on their proteges using their header. And their header bolts up to the stock exhaust so by association I'd have to say "yes" it'll clear.

As far as getting a money order to me, I understand your situation. If you'd like to just mail me a personal check I'll take it. I suggested Money orders because trhey are alittle more fool-proof. But if you're ok with a check I am also.

p.s. I can also get them gold-zinc plated...i'm asking how much extra that is and if there is a required number of buyers for Zinc plating. They all come powdercoated silver at no extra cost though.

zinc coating is just a fancy metal finish. It'll look like anodized gold basically. There may be some heat reduction properties also but I don't know for sure. I want it just for the looks!

sorry, I don't want to upgrade paypal accounts and be charged fee's on every transaction. The fee's sometimes offset the discounts and it'll apply to EVERY transaction not just this one..I do a lot of ebay stuff and other payments and don't want to be charged.

Money orders are very safe and easily traceable.

p.s. Just FYI I just completed a $4500 GB on our SHO forum for clutches without a hickup. Everything was paid for via money order and everyone is happy.
