I believe shipping is going to be set at $20. I will get you a better estimate though if you send me your zipcode.

The cams will NOT fit a 1.6L just to clarify. the 2.0L is an F series engine and the 1.6L is a Z series engine. We get no respect, lol. Actually if we could get a decent tranny the 1.6L is actually a quite a bit tougher engine and can handle plenty of boost without going to forged internals. Problem is that damn F series likes to grenade after about 180-200 lb ft of torque.

wow, I've seen Fs-de's running over 260lb/ft of torque....several MSP owners are running 15+ psi on stock internals with no problems....they are the exception however, not the norm.

huh, ok...and the differences between the two? I wonder if the mazdaspeed LSD I'm selling will fit in the F series tranny.

I'm interested. Is this one of those deals where we get new camshafts...and if we send our stockers in we get money in return?

A core charge is required for each cam set purchased. I do not have the exact core charge figure yet but should have this info by wednesday at the latest.

At my last speaking with WagnerMotorsports and Crower they decided there would be no positive benefit to buying all new cores and having those ground for this application. The processes Crower uses to re-grind the cams are the best in the industry. Nick (@ Wagner) will have a few sets of cams already made with the new specs when the orders are complete. There will be very minimal delay in shipping. If new cams are demanded the price will several hundred dollars higher, but will be possible if you are so inclined to spend it.

I also want to clarify how well these cams will preform with the Wagner tubular header also. Most everyone has form of intake to allow better breathing but very few seem to have a decent way of getting the exhaust gas away from the head. The header is just as important as the intake when it comes to replacing the cams. I will look into getting a possible "package price" for the header and cams, but at this point I'm just speculating.

Cams are designed for drop-in installation so do not worry if you don't wish to upgrade anything else at this time. I was just pointing out how well they respond to supporting mods.

Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.

Can you post the specs for the various cams as opposed to the stock specs?

no. all that does is negate all of the R&D time and money that Wagner Motorsports put into their product.
