Will the header throw a CEL? Are one of those MIL eliminator things necessary?

The headr is a very simple install and should take about 1-2 hours depending on your skill and the amount of wd-40 you have.

The header will retain all emissions equipment and all bungs needed for o2 sensors. Bolt-on and go.

I can't really ask andy all of these questions because he doesn't know either.

I'm advertising all of these parts for use on the 2.0L motor. If you want to cross reference everything to see what will fit and what won't you can. I just don't have time to do all of that. I know everything will fit a 2.0L motor....that's all we're promising.

The header has only been tested (as of this writing) on a bone stock P5....the test vehicle didn't have a cat-back either...so yes you would see the same gains. With the addition of high-flow cats or removal of cats and adding a cat-back exhaust will yield maximum results.

I don't have a picture of it currently and haven't seen it yet.

I will get with Andy to produce a picture for you.

w00t, 1 (2 if you count me) already in. It's a good piece with good proven gains. With this piece you'll know what you're getting.

get me some specs (please) on the cast mani', is it a P&P stock piece, extrude honed or did they actually cast a new unit? If so is it High nickle steel or cheap pot metal? Not to rip on it, but I buy parts to last, I dont have much disposable income...thats why i drive a protege...(Im full of it, the car is just plain fun)

I don't know the answer to your question, but I will say this. When I spoke with andy about selling these he described to me the differences between the two manifolds. I told him I wanted the cheaper cast piece but after hearing about the properties of the two metals the SS piece is the only way to go for me.

The SS header will hold heat in better and maintain a much nicer finish. The cast piece is more prone to heat cracks and bending...It won't do it for a while, but it will happen. The question that was asked of me is "If you're concerned about looks, underhood temps, and longevity wouldn't you want to spend a little extra?". It makes sense to me....that's why I didn't really advertise the Cast piece,....I've asked Andy for a pick or detailed description for you, but it sounds like you'd be better served by the SS piece. The old addage holds true....you get what you pay for.
