So you think I would be better off adding the DP with cat and leaving the MP alone? They don't have a price listed on their site for the DP at all, so I'm not even sure what range they're actually in. And what about the CC fee?

1. eggynatey - SS
2. 03ESPro - SS (possibly DP as well)
3. gottacatchup - SS
4. Roddimus- SS (already paid)
5. Dimitrios - SS

the DP doesn't have a price yet (that I've heard from wagner) but I'll get that as well.

the CC fee is 3% of total purchase price for whatever you buy. In order for me to accept creditcard payments I have to pay a 3% fee....it's something ebay is doing now to help pay for their fraud protection. At $265 it's an extra $8. Not that much when you have the ability to pay over time.

header wrap is readily available at most local auto parts stores or even at sumitracing.com or jegs.com. I'm not worried about heat though. That's one of the advantages of SS.

So you're planning on keeping the header nekked in all it's SST glory?

Any way to ask for a ceramic coat (ala Jet-Hot) before shipment? Please advise Mr. Matty....

Yes, I believe ceramic coating can be done prior to shipping. I do not have exact figures on this but as soon as I cn get Andy on the phone I will find out the answers to all your questions.

Thanks for being patient everyone.

Jet coating is nice, but color fades so I'm not interested in it for cosmetic reasons. If the pricing is good then I to will do Jet-coat. Anytime I can hold a little extra heat in the exhaust and out of the engine bay I'm happy.

I'm very excited about this. Even on a stock car it made more power than lmost every other piece that removed the emissions equipment..There's something to be said for that.

Unhappy Wagner Header S.S.

I have e-mailed Wagner 2 times and he has yet to respond regarding the headers. I want the S.S. type but I'm a little weary of plopping down money if he won't even respond. BUT>>>> I do want the S.S. header...count me in.....

hahaha, he CANT reply.....he's so covered up. Thats why I'M here!!

I've spoken with Nick 2 times today. He assured me that once the orders were placed he would drop everything and complete this order. He told me to expect a 2 week turn around and then 3-5 day shipping to your door. I am expecting 3 weeks TOPS for this. Nick is a man of his word and he wouldn't let me down if I'm sending him 5 orders at once....mainly because one of them is mine and I'll be in his home in 3 weeks!

So we're not getting a discount on these at all unless we buy the DP as well, which we don't even know the original price on?

I also expected a discount on these pieces. Unfortunatly about a week before I posted this thread Andy informed that he had to put some pieces on backorder due to the cost of SS going up. That's the main reason this was a "feeler thread". After the increase in SS prices Andy told me that his then-retail price of $265 was going to be honored as a GB price and only on this 1 forum, this 1 thread. After this is done the prices will go up according to the current market price of the steel. The situation is the same with the DP. It is also made of the same grade of SS and the price ($175) WAS the original retail price but is now considered the discounted price due to the increase. The discount is on the shipping fo both pieces. Nick and Andy ship everything UPS and due to the size, shape and weight of these items shipping is unfortunatly a little higher than other pieces.

I still want to point out what a value these pieces are even at the originally quoted prices. It's a quality piece by a quality vendor. Do I have to mention the power numbers yet again?!? This isn't some major corporation turning out 2,000 a week. These guys are artists and enthusiasts. My slogan is "Support the people who support us.". I hope you understand and enjoy your exhaust. I know I will.
