Powdercoating Available

I just wanted to create this thread so everyone has a chance to see it. I'm going to start expanding my powdercoating work to the forum in hopes of creating enough business to allow me to do this full time. I'm in the process of having a new shop built behind my home but with the required permits and contractors it's still a few weeks away. I will come back and officially post when I'm open for orders. A full spectrum of colors is available and most any color can be had. I even have very special colors like sparkles and glow-in-the-dark. I have never used the g-i-t-d before so I will be doing to my car first to show everyone what it looks like. The glow-charge is said to last for 10 hours at night. Should be very nice for anyone attending night time events. Special requests are allowed, but will need to be discussed with me a head of time. Also, I can polish chrome and aluminum. I do not have the ability to chrome anything, but I can powdercoat a chrome finish to your aluminum. Prices are not available yet but a payment schedule is: 50% deposit is paid upfront when order is placed and details are finalized. This will allow me to order and stock your needed powder prior to you shipping your part out. This saves on the time you are without your piece. This also holds you place in line. The other 50% will be required after I'm finished and satisfied with the work. Also, I will at this time check the return shipping costs (shipped how you want it) and invoice you for the remainder. I believe this is pretty feasible for everyone and will help cut down on delays and errors.

Color charts are available but are NOT the extent of what I have and can get. I have many factory colors like "Mercedes Silver" and "Porsche Red" that are very nice. PM me for a current color list.

Shipping will always be only what it costs me to ship. There are no extra shipping charges or handling fee's. I don't believe in these.

Due to the size and amount of labor involved with powdercoating wheels please allow 3 weeks for a set of four. I do this in my spare time and I take my time to make sure everything is just right. Smaller pieces should not be a problem and most could be turned around within 2 days. I will give discounts for multiple pieces done at one time. Pricing will later reflect these discounts. Also, I can do special requests. Some people want two-tone valve covers or multi-colored pieces. this can be done for an extra fee since the process has to be done for each color/section. Also I can polish to an almost mirror finish aluminum. I can polish intakes and powdercoat them clear to make them easier to clean. PM or post with special request info.

bump, I know you guys are interested in adding a very classy touch (something missing from a lot of tuners today) to your rides. Just keep this in mind if you're looking to spice up your ride a little.

*edit* My website should be up and running within 4-5 days. I'll be sure to link them and possibly get an ad banner up.

sounds good...Anarchist has seen some of my stuff so he knows how good this stuff looks....I'm just itching to get my glow-in-the-dark powder in!!

Nothing looks as cool as glow-in-the-dark MP3 yellow brake calipers glowing out from behind a set of 17" MP3 wheels (chromed out) on a laser blue P5. Man oh man...I'm getting all emotional just thinking about it.

p.s. Miller, you working up that post count aren't ya?!?! Eevryone here has a pretty low count...we're not a real fast forum...although thats good because we don't have a lot of the trash other forums have.

Just to get an idea, you could get a nice green G-I-T-D for calipers and perhaps a red for misc. engine parts (i.e fuse box, valve cover, heat shield etc)?

colors

Sure, what shade of green or red?? Glow in the dark works best on brighter colors...I think red would be as dark s I would go.

ok, I'm having trouble getting my color chart to show up. I'll have to post the actual colors tonight.

Well... I have an emerald green Pro. So at night, my car looks black. During the day (when its clean) its a nice metal flake green. The actual green the dealership says is Emerald Green Mica. So I figure if I want my calipers to stand out a bit, how bout a nice bright green? What shades of green do you have available? As far as the red, I suppose a cherry red would do. I don't need anything too too red because I want it to closely match any kind of hose kit I get and the red on my Injen CAI and filter.

I know, I know! Sounds a lot like Christmas. I suppose Im getting into the holiday spirit REAL early!! I only ask for green calipers because I have a green LED undercar kit and then green interior neons. Obviously I would of got red, but its illegal in FL to have blue or red anywhere outside the vehicle. The red accents under the hood is to match the Injen intake and filter.

Sure do. I know it sounds a bit off the wall, but trying to get a nice continuous stream of light from everything outside. Then a change-up in color under the hood.
