...and don't forget to stay till ten, get a stamp on the way out of the grounds, take a nap, and go back in the evening when the real fun starts...

btw, i am so bored of the stampede...same old every year - don't get me wrong, if you've never been, it's great fun....but it hasn't changed for the last i dunno how many years that I remember...didn't go last year...but i went on sneaka-peak yesturday...same as before.

Don't forget your 5 essential food groups for the stampede:
1. Corndogs - nothin beats meat on a stick!
2. Beer nuts
3. Mini-donuts
4. Slushies
5. Cotton Candy

but don't forget...if you lose too much $$ to the carnies - there's always $.99 hotdogs at orange julius stands!

Interesting! I 've gone to the Stampede every year for as long as I can remember. I know, it's the same old crap...I acutally really felt it this past Sunday.

Food=expensive
Games=expensive
Entertainment=??? Depends on what you find entertaining

I like looking around at the exhibits and the assorted eye candy BTW, who decided the Stampede should also be a meat market??

Here's one thing though. Screw the Chamois!! They are there every year. Last year I bought a set b/c the guy made it sound like it would work amazingly on me new car. They make it sound like it'll suck up every bit of water off of the car.

It DOESN'T. It leaves nasty-*** streaks of water everywhere AND leaves lint all over the place. Also, NEVER drag a chamois of any sort across your hood. You could give your paint a bad scratch that way. If I were to use a chamois, I would only use it to blot up water off the paint, and then finish up with a clean microfiber towel.

Anyway, I'll probably go back to the Stampede next year, BUT only on the free day
