Agreed! That was more fun than words can adequately describe. It was truly a pleasure making everyone's acquaintance in person in addition to this wonderful online community. Our little 'Zoom-zoom' to Sylvan Lake was a hoot. We were indeed a rolling Mazda commercial. These cars are too fun not to enjoy. Things like this certainly help.
We made some new friends yesterday. It was an interesting experience and again big thanks go to everyone who got it all together. Gary Moe Mazda were great, they indulged us very well and the hospitality was much appreciated.
It was neat seeing the other Mazdas; the Miata's were certainly impressive, especially that V8 powered monster; the lone RX-7; and the MP3 whose driver just heard of the event that day and swung by long enough to scoop a prize. The Protegé 5's were by far the most varied and interesting... no bias here.
Thanks to Skyhawk174 (and his wife), 90210Brandon, Brycer79 and Brycer79swoman (& friends), PR5Owner, and Mesoh for the fun times. Hope to see you guys soon!

Thanks to PR5Owner for posting those pics
I think we all had a fabulous time yesterday as Jayrox (my hubby) has already stated. The meeting of other Mazda owners was fun and seeing all the mods and stereos... I think I have speaker envy.
The best time I have had for awhile was driving to and through Sylvan Lake. 6 P5's yellow-silver-yellow pattern - cool. The stares, points, smiles and shakes of the people on the street and in their vehicles were worth the drive in the rain to Red Deer.
The ice cream was wonderful but the company topped even that!
Can't wait for the next meet!
"See Skyhawk... no more lurking <grin>"
