B&M Short Shifter
I bought and installed a B&M short shifter yesterday!
Wow what a difference that makes...
Just makes the car that much more fun to drive!!
I think it is a mod totally worth doing!!!
Just wish it didn't cost so damn much!!!

Hey Bryce
Be careful when you go there, it might get expensive . You will see Shane's P5 and it is very, very nice. He has several mods on his like lowered, AEM intake and exhaust.
I normally get all of my stuff from Shane as he does right by me and lets me know what is good and what is not. Real easy to go overboard though .

Just a newbie question here.... what are the advantages to the short shifter? I find that my elbow hits the damn driver seat when I shift into 2nd and I'd think that the short shifter might help in that regards. Can someone direct me to a picture of one installed. Can someone un-mechanically inclined install this kind of thing? Thanks!!

It's really easy!
and it comes with complete instructions on how to do it!!
Other than installing my intake I have never worked on a car in my life, and i didn't really have any problems doing it... The only thing that i suggest you get before you start are snap ring pliers...
Besides doing it yourself is the fun part...
And you can say that YOU changed it yourself when you are done!! Then people will think you are mechanically inclined even if you are totally not!!!

I agree with spikyC about the fun part... Besides, if you want to become a car-guy, the only way to start is to just start doing **** yourself
Shane, will you sell to us Winnipeg bums? Shipping charges yes, but PST nooooo... Sounds like a decent trade off to me, plus it's a chance to do business with someone on the board. Tell your boss that your shop needs a full color web catalog ASAP!
