was it fun buying your car?
Hi:
I'm a newbie to this forum, but I would like to know did anybody have fun buying their new car or was it a big pain?
I am a sales rep for Morrey Mazda in Vancouver, BC and would like some pointers from members here as to what they would like changed in the buying experience.
Any suggestions, horror stories about treatment at the dealership (or good strokes too) are welcome. We really need to change the way we deal with people.
Being a woman in the car business means I have a different slant on things, so fire away!!! I'm listening.

SUNGLOW,
Funny you should mention that. I have been trying to find a good mazda dealer in the lower mainland and I have to tell you, it hasn't been easy. I feel like all of the dealers are just out to rip me off. Your dealer is probably the only one I haven't visited..........maybe I should???
I've been quoted MSRP plus the money for my trade. My financing has been approved but I have not actually purchased the car yet. If I find a better deal, am I legally allowed to walk away from the dealer? Would that affect my credit at all or would the new dealer just process the documents again? Also, what is included in the documentation fee? How much does your dealer charge? Do you guys also charge for wheel locks as a hidden charge?
If you can offer me a better deal, I will come to your dealer so you can get the commission. Seriously, let me know. You can send me a private message on here or just post a message. I'm really big on service so if you can offer me the free oil changes and other things, you have my money on the Mazda 3GS with all the pacakges except for leather. PLease message me ASAP as I will definitely come to you if you can offer me a better deal.
The guy basically told me that all he could do for me was MSRP, grad rebate, plus the amount for my trade which was not all that much. I feel like I am being taken for a ride. Can you please tell me how much dealers have to move on the MAZDA 3?
going to buy a car in the next few days,
VANCOUVER
