Just saw the thread now...
The cheapest I've found the AEM short ram intake here is $318.00 CDN from Mopac. The Injen RD CAI is something like $450 CDN.

I was gonna get a "deal" on the AEM for $283 CDN, but didn't have the cash and I didn't think it was that great of a deal.

Yeah, I've seen it from Contemporary Motorsports for $343. Coincidentally, that was where I was gonna get it for $283...the store is run outta T&T Honda and they sold my dad a new CR-V, so the sales guy was all "sure, I can get you what you need." Right...he's full of BS.

BTW, he didn't hook me up with anything. He's full of talk. He even screwed my dad over by forgetting to make an appointment for him...and my dad took a day off work to drive in from Banff b/c this SOB told him he'd have everything arranged......GRRRRR

Car salesman can bite me!!

Sorry bout the rant

$425 was a deal? Wow...bending over to get the soap in a prison must be a deal too!

Just kidding man!
I just wish I had $425 to spend on a CAI....oh well.

Wait untill you try to get service from AutoZeal also... on interested on taking your money.

Try http://www.unlimitedperformance.com they take great care of their clients. They cary B&M, K&N, Ractive etc. If you go to the Customers section, the Pantera GT5 is my friends. 450hp. Unlimited balanced and blueprinted it. Was in Motor Trend top 50 road tests. First car in years to scare the **** out of me!

A Pantera??? Sweet!! My buddy who's always wanted a Ferrari has now decided that he wants a Pantera instead! We were checking them out on the net.....nice looking cars!

I tried giving unlimited performance a call. I asked the guy how much it was for a ractive intake for my pro. He didn't bother to look it up or anything...just said, "off the top of my head i think it's about $200". WTF? Why not take a minute and look it up???? Oh well.

Generally they are quite good. Maybe drop in... Im sure you'll have a better experience. As for the Pantera, GREAT car... but not the same as my friends 355 Spider. A Ferrari is a work of art, the Pantera is as fast but more by brute force than finess or enginering.
I get my friends Ruf 930 next weekend, kind of helped him out, this is payment!

You GET your friend's Ruf 930????? Do you mean he's GIVING it to you?? That's insane!!!

So you think the Ferrari is better than the Pantera? I'll have to let my buddy know. Thanks for the tip.

BTW, I'll probably drop into Unlimited some time. Thanks!

I get it for the weekend... hope its nice. I'm thinking of a little video or some pictures at least.

The Ferrari is nicer, but way more money! My customer (also a friend) ownes WS Motors by Chinook, he's selling his 355 Spider. $250,000, F1 shifters, Yellow, beautiful car.
