Angry sanding in calgary

why does this damn town have to sand with gravel the size of marbles? damn it. i'm running out of fingers to count all the cracked windshields we have in this club alone. i got another chip today so hopefully it won't spread. this isn't even taking into consideration how shitty the entire front bumper looks already.

it's impossible to keep a car nice though a winter here. damn impossible. i should have just bought a bloody kia then i wouldn't care about the gravel assault the car takes every time i drive it.

and no, i'm not following too close. it's just that this entire city is a gravel road right now.

Get a bra for the winter and take it off in the spring.

i thought about it. went with the hood deflector instead. decided the grit under a bra was worse than the salt&pepper.

wouldn't have saved the windshield anyway.

But it keeps the rocks off the hood at least...

At least we're not in Edmonton. Or Winnipeg. Or Saskatoon. The gravel sux (I have a freckle faced pro too ), but I think they tend to get stuck with more gravel than we do even. At least the roads will be cleared by the end of July!!

Yeah, I can vouch for that. The other day, they were sanding streets that were clean just so that they could give the city workers more hours.....what bullshit is that!

Honestly, I'd prefer rain over snow/ice/gravel. Black looks better in the rain than when covered in snow and mud.

Gravel is better than salt. It doesn't wreck the car "as much."

All we have here is rain rain and more rain. It's snowed once this season, I love it.
