security/starter install place

security/starter install place (Edmonton)
Okay.. I've narrowed down my security/remote starter system to 1 of 2 systems... so now I have a couple questions for you guys
I want to get the Compustar 2WSS or 2WFM (the SS is supposed to have a longer range, and costs 100 bux more)
I called Autotemp and JB power (i think thats what theyre called??)
Autotemp's install price was a lot cheaper (160)... however.. the guy at JB really seemed to know what he was talking about.. he said the 2WFM (cheaper of the two) had a much further range in canada because of the way <insert some kind of technical mumbo jumbo> the SS uses is regulated.. and that the FM model is 'really pimped out' in canada...
Now I can't see him suggesting a cheaper model unless it really is better.. but their install is 265.. If JB is good.. I'd rather pay the extra 100 bucks to know its done right.. unless their full of crap and don't know what theyre talking about
So I'm wondering does anyone know anything about either of these places? Or are there other places that are better that I should call?
Thanks,
Dawn

I'm looking for a place that does compustar install for less than 500 bucks in edmonton. International on the southside (34th ave) wants to charge me 500 bucks for the install, so all in all i'd be paying about 1100 bucks, which I think is a ripoff. Does anyone have any referrals?
LowPro5, how much did ur place charge you for the install?

The alarms cost.. well the 2wfm is 499, the 2wSS is 599 (ive actually been told by alarm guys that the fm works better in canada).. and JB auto quoted me 260 for the install.. call them up (that was for an auto, with power lock relays).. they were the most expensive install place *I* called.. but seemed to know the most about what was going on..
However.. I think I've chosen to go with someone fireball knows.. you may want to pm him and ask..
