Speaking of parts, how much would it be to order the cool door sills that were on the white protege? I think those would be pretty sweet to have; and wouldn't mind picking up a set of them. Question though, are they powered? and how hard would they be to install?

They come with a set of wires, and I think they get hooked right up to your fuse box. It would be pretty difficult to install them yourself, and it takes about 2 hours.
Our price is $249 installed.

Another one coming to the peg tonight
The truck that dropped the Mazdaspeed here in Saskatoon had a silver Mazda6 with the 17" alloys to drop in Winnipeg. Didn't ask which dealer, but should be there later this evening.

Here in Calgary, there are quite a few 6's floating around. I was at Sunridge Mazda this weekend and took out a 4-cylinder 5-spd model and the V6, but in automatic form.
I was surprised at how easily the salesman let me take it out. Most places I've been to lately require the salesman to come with you, but this guy basically handed me the keys and said, "have fun!"
I actually felt that the 4-cylinder 5-speed was much peppier than the V6 automatic. I even tried pushing the V6 auto in the "manumatic" (or whatever) mode and still thought the 4 cylinder was more exciting. The dealer said that there were about 5 manual V6's coming in this week and to check back then if I wanted to test drive one of those.
I also really like the look of the car...And we got plenty of finger pointing and could see people mouthing, "look at that!"
Overall, I really liked the 6...however, my fiancee was NOT a fan of the interior, especially the centre console being all "futuristic" looking.
IMO, Mazda has done a great job here!
