Question '03 Pro5, 215/45/17 on 17x7

I am pretty well convinced that I want to run the inch taller and inch wider 215/45/17's on my '03 Pro5, primarily to lower my cruising RPM a little, secondly to fill the wheelwells and look better. I plan on using 17x7 wheels and probably Continental ContiExtremeContact tires, wet-weather traction being most important to me.

I've read the "Recipe", I know my speedo reading will change (probably closer to actual speed since it is about 2-3 MPH fast @ 60 MPH right now), etc., etc. I know that many of y'all are successfully running 215 tires in 16, 17 and 18 wheel diameters.

Soooo, Pro5 owners, please tell me your:

wheel width (anyone running 7.5"?)
wheel offset and/or backspace
suspension mods (and product brands)
etcetera

That are allowing you to successfully run 215's.
Are you happy with them?
Anyone running wider than 215?
Pics would be cool.
Many thanks.

I am running 215's.....but in a 40 series as that is the absolute closest thing to stock diameter.

I am running Rota Battle wheels. in 7.5 in width.
I am riding on Eibach ProKit lowering springs....
The wheel offset is a +48 as per the recipe, i got the wheels from Rishie.
the tires I am running are Yokahama AVS ES100's and absolutely LOVE them.

Sir Nuke: With that set-up do you have any instances of rubbing at all??

Also would anyone know if 215/45-17 with 17x7.5 48mm offset would rub at all if lowered with Eibach springs??

I'm looking at running a 205/45/17 next year. Does anyone know what is involved with changing the computer/speedo to compensate for this change?
