16x7 wheel

What tire can I fit on a 16x7 rim with a offset of +50? H&R springs sitting on Mazdaspeed Adj Struts! I would like to get a 205\50\16 or 215\45\16!! The 215\45\16 is alot more $$
Thanks

I believe you can fit up to a 225 on 7" wides, but i'd wait till the guru's post replies.

either tire will work nicely. so it's up to your wallet, and how much extra contact patch you want.

would a 225 fit on +50 offset without rubbing? Would that be in a 40,45, or 50 series. the widest I can go is my goal without going tall on the sidewall!

A 225 will fit, but I don't know of any tires in a 16" 225 width that have a low enough profile!

It's usually 225/50/16 which is a BMW size (among others) and is an inch or so too big for Proteges.

Oh wait .. TireRack has a bunch! I didn't notice these sizes last year ...

A 225/45/16 in the Dunlop SP9000 would be pretty much exactly what the OEM size tire is.
