1st gen - Miata LS 16 rims?

Has anyone else thought of putting the new Miata LS 16" rims on their First Gen Protege? I think they look great. Would there be any sizing or other problems with them (other than cost)? I am trying to decide between these and the Protege ES 15" rims, but currently lack the 'kwan' for either. Any opinions? These are they:

There are a set of the Miata BBS wheels with Yokohama tires for sale for $600 on miata.net OEM wheels classifieds if you are interested, Mike.

Mike, I didn't even look to see that you were in Canada. Sorry about that. However, there are a lot of Canadian Miata clubs that have their own Classified forums so you could try one of them.

Wil, if you get any other rims, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring to buy your ES rims! The LS rims I have seen as low as $500 for a set without tires (which is a great deal), but I just can't justify that and new tires when my 14 inchers are just fine, with plenty of tread left on my tires. Maybe when I get outta school.

If anybody sees either of these rims for sale for cheap, though, please let me know.
