Post 205/45/16 or 205/50/16?

I would like to replace my cheap OEMs with new Kumho Ecsta ASX, but which size is preferred - 205/45 or 205/50?

BTW, anyone know which site selling the cheapest for these tires?

Thanks for you help in advance,
Tony

I've got 205-50-16 Yokohama tires. I like the way they fill the wheel well. They're only 0.40" wider and taller than original. Speedo is only off by 1 mph. I bought mine from Discount Tires.

What year protege do you have? I went with 205/40R16 to keep the correct tire diameter on my '93.

Year 2002

The car of year is 2002 and I think I'll be going with 205/50/16
