45 series or 50 series

so i think i finally decided to go with the Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S but I'm not sure if i want to go with the 205/50/16 or the 205/45/16. I'm on stock suspension and correct me if I'm wrong but the 50 series will create less fender gap but raise the car up a little and the 45 series will create more fender gap and lower the car a little. i'm not sure which way i would rather go or if the difference is so minimal that it doesn't really matter. i would also like a little stiffer sidewall but not a bone jarring ride over bumps. also the 50 series weighs 4 lbs. more than the 45 series. so weighing all my options i'm not sure which i want. which one is better?

I'm running 205/45/16s and I think they handle and feel great. Of course, just about anything would have been an improvement over the stock Dunlops!

well i guess it depends on why you really wanna lose weight on your car for racing and style?
