how do these wheels look

I saw those at PEP BOYS for like $130/17" wheel. They are pretty heavy if I remember correctly. Tantrums will run you liek $1000 with tires for 17" through the Discount Tire and a few other places. In fact Motegi is affiliated with another wheel manufacturer. It may be Konig.....can't remember right now though.

IMHO this design is overused and outdated.
Check out wheelmax.com they have some fresh styles all the time

There are three or four people in Toronto that have those wheels and they look very nice on. Just be careful about the offset with the 17's.
I think the MR7's aren't actually that heavy (doesn't Motegi publish weights on ther website? ). And they should not be too costly.
Someone else posted a while ago that Motegi was the import-style wing of American Racing wheels. Motegi also makes the new RO_JA forged wheels. (Roger Foo uses the 5-spoke RO_JAs in his world challenge car but you'll need 4-bolts to fit them).

Yeah, they are quite heavy but they are cheap. Check out:www.1010tires.com
I have heard this argument of weaker hubs due to the multi-holed setup but I have never heard/seen a problem due to it. Unless you are on the track I cannot see it making any difference for most people.

I don't really agree on the weight issue. I picked up a brochure on Motegi at an import car show and it listed the weights of all the different styles. The weights are comparable with Konig and ADR.
If anyone interested I will look up the weights listed from the brochure once I get home.
I was cosidering these wheels myself versas Konig Tantrums...especially living in Canadian where we pay ridiculous prices.

Here are the specs on the MOTEGI MR7 wheels:
SIZE OFFSET WEIGHT PRICE
16x7 +42 20.0 lbs $125.00
17x7 +40 24.5 lbs $140.00
18x7.5 +45 27.5 lbs $180.00
8H ( 4-100/4-4.5)
8H (4-100/4-4.25)
10H (5-100/5-4.5)
Please check these spec's to make sure they will fit.... according to the ARD Recipe, it appears as if they possibly could cause you some fitment issues.
Later, Speedbump.

heres what I can't figure out, all of the performance tire shops here have a book that says that any wheel with a +38 to +42 and higher will fit no problem, also the one place I went to called mazda to confirm this, I don't know if the offset is different in canada but as far as I know I am going with 5zigens with a +43 offset, I also asked about the car being lowered with eibach and all of them said it will be perfectly fine, no rub. So I don't know
what is the offset of the stock rim?
also it says in this book that the stock rim is +38 and mazda canada confirmed this
