Kumho ECSTA ASX

Kumho ECSTA ASX
Got a set of these tires (P195 50 R16) installed and I must say, what an improvement over the stock rubber! Roads were wet from (get ready for this) a light snowfall here in central PA the other day. Yep, that's right. Snow. In October. And this weekend it's supposed to hit 60 degrees?! But, I digress... so far the ASX's are very smooth riding and quiet, and have very good traction, both dry and wet. Haven't had the opportunity to push them, but I will when I drive the twisty back roads and route 322 to Philly this weekend. Believe it or not, I got the best deal on the tires from my dealer, installed with lifetime complementary rotations and road hazard for just over $400. Not too bad. Even WalMart wanted to charge me $500+ for a set of tires installed. I'll update this later after I have a chance to get comfortable with them on a longer trip.

Yeah, I've read good things about the ASX's.
If I was going to stick with all-seasons, I would have given them a try myself.
But PA roads suck, so I'm sticking to swapping out my summer tires for my steelies and snow tires, but hopefully not too damn soon!
