I need to get affordable rims for my protege. But I dont want piece of **** rims either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

Tell me your budget. Your car will be easy to fit rims on. I'd suggest Rotas for the inexpensive but good wheel.

My budget for the rims themselves is around 2, but I hear that wont get me much. I have brand new good year tires. I just want some little chill rims that wont break. The color of my car is tan. So something that would go with that.

 

im no expert on rims, but i can tell you there is not much out there for 200 bucks. unless we're talkin about those flower rims i saw in a post a while back.

 

so am i. i got about 300 to spend when the time comes. anyhows there is a group buy going on at groupbuycenter.com for rota wheels. prices looked ok but i don't know rota wheels all that well. i want 14" maybe 15" if i find a great deal... 15" was the min for the groupbuy. hope this helps.

 

yea i'm in the same boat. i'm trying to find some 15's or 16's w/ the tire package for not more than $500. if anyone knows of a good deal on cheap wheel and tire packages, please let me know.

actually, check at your local sears, they are having a sale on motegi rims: 280 for a set of 15 in. MR7's. not too bad.

Is he talkin 200 or 2000? If it's 200 you're probably best off with waiting a while and gathering more funds. Gunmetal would look hot on the color.
