nitto neo-gens

once again, i'm the new guy with a question... i'm buying new tires and more than likely, they will be the nitto neo-gens. i had nt-450s on my old civic and for value and performance, i was very impressed. anyone have these tires yet? also, i will be lowering the car soon(with the MSP kit or tokico) and i want to know if 205-45-16 is a suitable size for the stock wheels. to save money, i'm just going to paint the wheels black to match the car instead of buying new ones. once again, any help/input is appreciated.

I assume you have the stock 16 X 6" P5/ES wheels. The 205/45 will fit OK, but would be better on a 6.5 or 7" wide. It's not wide enough to be a problem though. It will also be about 3/8" smaller in overall diameter which is like getting lower gearing, a Good Thing.
