Replace Tyres

Hi all...new to the club so be gentle....looking at replacing the tyres on my Mazda Maxx Sport currently have Toyo 205/55R/16...what are some good options with a price range under $100 ? Would like to also go to a lower profile if this helps...

under $100/tire is a bit of a limitation... and to go lower profile you need to use a wider tire or larger rim. I'm pretty sure that the larger tire size to get a lower profile is a non-standard size, thus difficult if not impossible to get.
Have a look at tirerack or 1010tires & search away. They have reviews and such as well.
I recently got new tires and am rather unhappy with how the car handles now - if you get new ones, please reply with any difference you feel in handling - so I know if i'm alone.
BTW, I had gotten continental extreme contact DWS - car pulled to one side with a squishy ride. Replaced them with goodyear eagle GT, and the car drives straight but feels like the back end is floating around way too much due to the tread 'walking'.
