Dude, EVERYONE says that. Heck even I say that sometimes. I don't think you can credit one person with that quote

I have a set of 7 spoke Konig Tantrums that are the "origionals" to your wheel #1. So my choice is #1.

Gee, and here I was thinking that the original 7-spoke design was by Advan.

Thanks

Well folks I just got back from the store checkin out the Motegi MR7 gunmetal (rim#1). I think I'm going to stick with the 16x7 size because of three reasons.

1, I dont have enough money to get rim and tire together. (only enough money to get rims )

2, Will fit onto stock MP5 tires, and not cause problems with any offsets or rubbing.

3, A little lighter than 17 or 18.

Oh yea forgot to ask another question. Does $510 sound like a good price for 4 Motegi MR7 16x7'' Gunmetals to be wrapped around stock tires and installed on the car?

i like both rims, although LOTS of people have the 7 spoke rims. i was thinking about getting those (#1) when i bought my rims, but then i noticed that 4 guys at my college have them on their honda's. seeing that i had to be different, i went with a set of 9 spokes! unfortunately, some guy with a new accord saw my rims, sold his focals, and then bought a set of my rims. needless to say i was pissed off! also, i would NOT go with chrome rims as someone else suggested. i made that mistake with the purchase of my first set of rims. they may look nice, but they are way too HEAVY!!!!

I paid $500 for 17's with the lugnuts from Discount tire. The stock tires from my old Matrix fit fine on the rims. Since I traded my Matrix in, l have to get new tires. If you want to use the 17's on the P5, you'll have to get someone to modify them to get the 45mm offset, as they only come with a 40mm offset.

i like number 1. and $510 is a little high. Sears is selling four 16x7 for $359. if you have one in your area, i would suggest checking them out before making any decisions.

my $0.02....

Advan AVS Model 7s to be exact... they typically go for $3000-$4000 a set. Just for the record Konig has NEVER produced an original wheel design, they always knock off someone else's designs.

I'd go with #2 just because #1 is played out.
