Rishie's FITMENT RECIPE (IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT WHEELS, READ THIS THREAD FIRST)
#31
If you use a +48 or higher and it's a Pirelli P7000ss or something without a big rim protector. I tried it with my Dunlops and a +48 and I just hit the damn rim protector. Still sucks. Gotta change my tire size. Did it cause dunlop doesn't make the 35 in the 901 and I wanted a little more cushion also.

Could you check on the fit and price for a set of 17x7 Nakayama RSX5 Silver (not sure what offset they offer in this wheel) and also suggest tire and size to fit 2002 Pro5 lowered 2" with GC's
Thanks
Thanks

I currently have 16x7s on a 38mm offset with the original tyres, (Yokohama A460s here) 195/50-16s and lowered 35mm.
It rubbed on occasion so I had the rear guards lipped (no probs at the front) and all good.
I'm going to a 17x7 now and I'm thinking I have to stick to 205/40-17s and minimum offset 40mm (42mm preferred).
Any comments Rishie? Am I on the right track?

That would be fine, but we should go through some options before you make the drive down here. I want to make sure that we have the wheels you want. As for financing, we can only offer credit card payment. I'm very sorry. Call us and let me know if you're interested.
Thanks, Rishie

Rishie,
Will ADR Battle Exe 18x7.5 with toyo 215/35/18 fit on my 2001 protege ES, lowered with eibach springs? I haven't been able to find an offset for the rim. I just bought the eibach springs but haven't gotten them in yet.

Rishie,
I'm considering buying Tenzo shu-4 17x7 with 42mm offset. Most of the wheel and tire combinations come with 205/40 17's. From reading early posts it makes me think these will rub or be very tight. I'm also considering going with Eibach springs. I have a ES sedan.
Any reply or thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated!!

Rider, thank you so much.
Really, the reason I made the chart is so I wouldn't need to answer every question. There are no exceptions to the rules and I've already taken lowering into consideration.
To make things easier and more efficient for everyone, please look for the MANUFACTURERS number and ask them for specs.
If the specs match my recipe please contact me and see if I can get you a good deal.
Thanks, Rishie
I'm heading into the office now and will play catchup for another week. yipppeeee.
We are unofficially closed as we're now getting ready for sevenstock in LA. I'll keep my eyes and ears open though.

ok, i'm going to tag along on this thread and hopefully someone can answer my question.
i'm bucking the trend and going smaller, b/c i want some rims to autoX with. i found a set of 15x6.5" '88 RX-7 rims w/ 205/60R15 tires. as best as i can tell, the offset is btw 38-42mm. in the end i want to fit a set of 205/50R15 Victoracers.
since the overall autoX tires diameter is going to be smaller than stock, i have hunch it will work, but just looking for advice from those who know more than me.
any info would be appreciated.
thanks
mike
EDIT: screw those nissan rims, i found cheaper RX-7 rims. added offset info. Rishie, thanks for the response, i know you're busy.
