well i know you all have seen it, very sweet
but my question is, what wheels does he have on there? (size?, Brand?, model?) also what is he using to get that awesome stance that car has (perfect drop!) i know they are h&r springs....
i really want my p5 to have that stance! add some eyelids to the lights, and a bit of a black lip at the bottom.... and wowza thatd be one fat P5.... with the turbo kit of course

The Wheels are OZ Superleggera 17X7.5 ith a 38 offset, I would reccommend a 40 or higher for the street. We are switching to Motegi bran Ro ja wheels after the first race.
The Foo Car uses H&R Springs with a coil over shortened shock set up from ground cnotrol and adavanced design double adjustable shocks.
I hope that answers your questions.

When I called OZ they did not indicate a 17.7.5 fitment on the Superleggerra. I am showing a 17,8 +40 and a 17,7 +45.
The 17,7 +45 I've proclaimed as an awesome fitment a while ago. Allows the use of a 215/40/17 without any problems. The guys know to contact me if they need wheels as we're authorized vendors for the forum. Plus I've spent a lot of time informing these guys about fitment on our sensitive protege5's.
Thanks, Rishie

Rishie,
On Foo's car we are running the 4X100 wheels not the standard p5 5X114.3. So the 38 offset is all we can get.
You are correct they are 17X7 superleggerra.
In regards to the shock spring combination you have a few options.
www.groundcontrol.com
or awr design- 760-598-9782
or maybee Rishie can help you with GC Coil Overs

Interesting about the boltpattern. Dude, you can even run the 18's if you'd like. They make a good fitment in that as well.. I love OZ's as I have a set for each of my vehicles, euro style, and a set of JDM's, japan style, as well.
I love OZ's and they're very strong considering they're cast, but I just had somewhat of a difficult time justifying the cost of that wheel. It is extremely ligtweight though, so the decision is a tough one. Kinda puts you in the middle, so I guess it's not bad. If you got a set of Volks they would definitely cost a lot more.
However, you could get a set of Rota Subzeros or a couple other styles at a fraction of the cost.
If you want a special on the GC coilovers please contact me. I'm getting a big shipment in next week. You can contact myself directly or Mitch at P5online as well.
Thanks, Rishie
THE BUMP IS GONNA HAVE A REALLY SWEET SETUP. HE's going with my favorite combo on the vivid yellow. hmmmmmmmm. . . . . I wonder what that is

That doesn't sound right, but that's the way I'm reading your post. Can you elaborate a little, or a picture would really do the job nicely. Thanks!

Ground Control/H&R
Yep, you heard right. The springs are H&R Racing springs and the rates vary depending upon the track. It is not the street set up because the race car needs adjustability for the local track conditions. For example, in the rain we run the car softer than we do in the dry. A bumpy track like Sebring generally requires softer springs, while a smooth track you can usually run stiffer.
All these springs are MUCH stiffer than the street applications, and the team has a dozen or so different spring rates to choose from.
The strut/Shock combination was custom made for the car by Ground Control, and features Advance Design Double Adjustable shocks. The housings have Ground Control adjustable spring height sleeves.
The combination of Ground Control and H&R is effective, and also one of those new team "things." Roger has had personal sponsorship from the fine folks at H&R for years and insisted on using their products. The Protomotive Team has used Ground Control products for years also, so all three groups worked together to build an effective package.
Thanks for your question. My brother Joe and I will do our best to keep everyone here up to speed on the progress of the cars!
