Tire care, like new

What is the general concensus on keeping tires new looking?

I have been told that Armour All is okay as long as the tires are nice and clean before application. What about Tire Black or any of the plethora of other tire care products?

Since the stock low profile radials are decent on my P5 I would rather not shorten their life by putting some crap on them that will age them unnecessarily.

Dunlop doesn't recommend putting any tire dressing on(if you wanna go by the book). Personally I use Simoniz-it makes them look new without looking "greasy". In any scenario-thread will wear down faster than sidewalls shows any sign of deterioration-I doubt that stock will last more than 50000 km.
BTW, I swapped tires already as you can see from sig....hope Dunlops will last through another 10-15k km through winter-I had 27 k km on them alerady.
