Tire question ???

Another one for you guys...

what is the best tire size for a 17x7.5 wheel ?? (+38offset)
I am guessing it should be 205/40 R17 , but I could be wrong so I just want to make sure...

the other thing.......I think that I am going to go with the Kumho Ecsta 712 since most of you guys here seem to be very happy with them........the best price I found for the size mentioned above was $78 for a tire ??? is that good ?
know any place where I could find them for a better price ???

any info and input will be appreciated !

Tirerack or discount tire always have good prices, one of them carries it, the other doesn't, don't recall which though.

yes, _great_ tires for daily driving, _good_ tires for autox.

you could probably get a 215 tire on there...with maybe a 40mm offset, but that extra .5" width is gonna keep your choices limited.
