Look i know we always chat about the ideas at the meets, but what about putting the ideas up here in the forum. Here look at it from a pros and cons point of view;

Group buys pros:

- Cheaper shipping for the individual when ordering in a group buy
- possibilty for group discounts can be a possibilty
- chances are you are more likely to give into peer pressure when everyone else is doing it....

Group buys cons:

- None! ..... Now give into peer pressure !~!~!~!

So post your ideas and see if we can get some agreements on one, or two, who knows.

Hoods carbon fibre or fibre glass, as long as the fibre glass had rolled edges:

dang! i guess if this group buy goes thru i'm out! but then again....do you guys really want to have the same hoods? if it were performance parts i'd be in.

It didn't have to be the same hood, it could be all just from the same company, same ideas when you try and group buy rims. But basically i am just trying to get some ideas flow'n.

 

I like the rims idea because I need new treads and rims and that is about the only thing I can get in on now.... =(.

 

rims... this will be interesting... i need 17x7 with 50-60 offset and light weight for auto-x... anyone else want those and would like to spend $300.00 per rim?? If so, lets start that rim GB

 

my god! I was just looking for some rims for my car too! That would be something that I could get in on too! except I have a 4x113.5 bolt pattern... little wierd... but group discount still works. I was at 50 below before checking them out. Just gotta wait for paycheck
