I'm organizing paintball this year for the club. I'm doing it through Alter Ego sports. They got an awesome outdoor compound about 15 minutes out of Steinbach. So it could be both a short road trip and a chance to get out for some good exercise. The cost should be around $35 per person. That includes 200 paintball rounds, mask, and coveralls. If you need more rounds, you can buy them on site(cash only i believe). I've organized paintball around 4 times before and its always a blast. You need 16 people to reserve the compound for 4 hours. We'll do it on a saturday in June(probably the 21st) so that it gives everyone time to book it off. Just post if you're interested. I believe that you need 10 bucks up front to reserve and then you can pay the balance at the field. Also, I have a couple more people showing up to the event so you don't have to own a protege....hope I get alot of response.

The next club event will probably be a road trip to Grand Beach. Probably in July/August. I guess i'll be the clubs "events coordinator".

 

Woow, slow down Mr Coordinator. We need to confirm for sure who is coming out for these events, But good job on giving out the info.

Remember, Jim Gauthier Mazda was going to do a "Show and Shine" this summer, Whatever happen to that? Is it still on? (I'm looking at Kubaspeed or OctanePro).

And we should have the next meet at a park (Assiniboine Park)and have some BBQ instead of going to Boston Pizza. Save the money you'll be spending at Boston Pizza for some BYO- hotdogs, burgers, drinks and buns. I have a small portable BBQ grill I can bring.
